The modules within Transhub have been designed for use with all types of workplaces & schools, public institutions and residential developments. Adopting all Transhub modules facilitates the effective management of Mixed Land Use Sites, for example a retail development which includes offices and residential units.
Modules in Transhub Include:
iTRACE Workplaces and Public Institutions
iTRACE Schools
iTRACE Residential Travel Plans (RTP)
iTRACE has been adopted by around 30% of authorities across the UK (excluding NI) and is supported by Transport for London, the Highways Agency, SYPTE, NEXUS Smarter Choices Group and a number LTP groups. iTRACE represents the largest single source of travel plan related data; each authority is using essentially the same methodology, therefore the performance of each authority is directly comparable with another. This also allows authorities to share a standard method over a large area and share information across borders.
iTRACE currently contains the details of over 1,000,000 workplace commuter kilometres, based on 436,570 staff surveys covering 5,087 workplaces, of which 2,063 are voluntary.
iTRACE also contains trip information from 60,000 non staff surveys taken from some of the 1,886 online workplace audits that have been performed.
As part of the the most recent set of surveys, commuter CO2 emissions information has been provided to 64,166 employees, allowing them to better understand the implication of their chosen mode.
iTRACE contains information for 5,254 schools sites, providing modal split data from 11,531 surveys covering 3,859,618 school pupil and 204,962 staff journeys.
