Envirohub Mobile
Envirohub Mobile is the PDA application that is used by field based staff to record PMS inspections results and associated information.
On opening the application, the user is required to login, the credentials are verified and the allocated inspections are downloaded via the mobile phone network (GPRS/3G). On completion of inspections, the user initiates synchronisation to upload details to the central database. A grid view and data entry forms are used to display the details of the allocated transect(s). The grid view provides search and sort functionality allowing the user to quickly locate the record they require. The data entry form is used to capture the inspection details including Grade (required), comments (optional), photo (optional), GPS coordinates, date/time and inspector.
If a user fails a transect on a particular Service, then a rectification will be included in the inspection allocation process for the following Day shift. An audit trail of the failure and rectification is maintained. Functionality to capture photographs both before and after rectification is provided.
